Hannan Center
The mission of the Luella Hannan Memorial Foundation is to preserve the dignity and enhance the quality of life for seniors in Michigan.
Just some of the many services offered by Hannan have included:
- Beyond U – School for Grownups – providing a variety of classes and workshops
- The KayRod Art Gallery – currently featuring the “Grandma Art” virtual exhibition
- Zena Baum Senior Service Center – helping older adults access and navigate the services they need to age in their homes, improve physical and emotional health, and remain independent
- DayBreak – improving the quality of life for older adults living with dementia and their families by providing a safe and secure daytime environment for participants
- Support Groups – including The Detroit Elders Project for LGBT older adults, the Parkinsons Support Group, and the Veterans Support Group in partnership with AARP
- My Neighborhood Connections – utilizing Americorp representatives to provide support for older adults in Southeast Michigan.
